# TV Connect USA vs RECpoint

The clearest difference is rating: RECpoint at 5.0 against TV Connect USA's 4.5. RECpoint also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). TV Connect USA's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RECpoint holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Connect USA has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TV Connect USA ships an update every 4 months, RECpoint every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
