# Surge Baseball vs GoTall

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Surge Baseball at none against GoTall's 17. Surge Baseball also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). GoTall's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 31). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoTall sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Surge Baseball asks for nothing beyond the download.

Surge Baseball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoTall has 6.8K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Surge Baseball ships an update every 5 months, GoTall weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
