# FontLab vs PDF Converter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FontLab at 95% against PDF Converter's 0%. FontLab also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 33). PDF Converter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FontLab sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and PDF Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
