# My Device Finder vs Camera Detector

The clearest difference is rating: Camera Detector at 4.5 against My Device Finder's 3.1. Camera Detector also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (241 vs 13). My Device Finder's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Device Finder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Camera Detector sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Camera Detector holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera Detector has 241 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
