# Weather° vs Weather View +

The clearest difference is rating: Weather View + at 5.0 against Weather°'s 2.6. Weather View + also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Weather°'s advantage is chart position (#185 vs unranked) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Weather View + holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weather° has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
