# Task Focus vs Drip

The clearest difference is update cadence: Drip at every 5 days against Task Focus's every 2 weeks. Drip also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Task Focus's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Drip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Focus ships an update every 2 weeks, Drip every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
