# Task Focus vs Parallelife

The clearest difference is update cadence: Parallelife at every 2 days against Task Focus's every 2 weeks. Task Focus's advantage is device support (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Parallelife sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Focus ships an update every 2 weeks, Parallelife every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
