# Task Focus vs Furthering

The clearest difference is update cadence: Furthering at weekly against Task Focus's every 2 weeks. Task Focus's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Furthering sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Task Focus ships an update every 2 weeks, Furthering weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
