# Tricky Cards vs Timer Idol

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tricky Cards at every 4 days against Timer Idol's every 5 weeks. Tricky Cards also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tricky Cards sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timer Idol sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tricky Cards ships an update every 4 days, Timer Idol every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
