# INMOST vs Nightgate

The clearest difference is rating: INMOST at 4.8 against Nightgate's 4.2. INMOST also leads on ratings volume (752 vs 21). Nightgate's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. INMOST sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Nightgate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

INMOST holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INMOST has 752 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of INMOST's written reviews are positive against 83% of Nightgate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
