# HyNote vs Daybound

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HyNote at 7.7K against Daybound's 9. HyNote also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and chart position (#113 vs unranked). Daybound's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyNote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Daybound sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for HyNote against 4.8 for Daybound. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HyNote has 7.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of HyNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daybound's.

HyNote ships an update weekly, Daybound every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
