# HyNote vs AutoNote

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HyNote at 7.7K against AutoNote's 34. HyNote also leads on chart position (#112 vs unranked) and review sentiment (77% vs 67%). AutoNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyNote sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AutoNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for HyNote against 4.8 for AutoNote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HyNote has 7.7K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of HyNote's written reviews are positive against 67% of AutoNote's.

HyNote ships an update weekly, AutoNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
