# HyNote vs MaplePath

The clearest difference is update cadence: MaplePath at every 3 days against HyNote's weekly. HyNote's advantage is chart position (#104 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HyNote sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and MaplePath sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HyNote ships an update weekly, MaplePath every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
