# Flashback vs Flash Cards

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashback at every 2 weeks against Flash Cards's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashback sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Flash Cards sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashback ships an update every 2 weeks, Flash Cards every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
