# Space Opera vs Post

The clearest difference is update cadence: Space Opera at every 3 weeks against Post's every 6 months. Post's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 6) and iOS requirement (14 vs 16.4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Space Opera sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Post sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Space Opera against 4.2 for Post. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 21 respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Space Opera's written reviews are positive against 90% of Post's.

Space Opera ships an update every 3 weeks, Post every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
