# Salsa Grille vs The Bourbon MD

The clearest difference is monetization model: Salsa Grille at free against The Bourbon MD's ad-supported. Salsa Grille also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). The Bourbon MD's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Bourbon MD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Salsa Grille has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
