# SoundsReal vs Onyx Magic

The clearest difference is price: SoundsReal at Free against Onyx Magic's $64.99. SoundsReal also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). Onyx Magic's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

SoundsReal is free to download; Onyx Magic costs $64.99 up front. SoundsReal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Onyx Magic sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SoundsReal against 5.0 for Onyx Magic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onyx Magic has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
