# AI Video Generator vs Kling AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: Kling AI at free with in-app purchases against AI Video Generator's subscription. Kling AI also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Video Generator sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Kling AI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kling AI holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kling AI has 33K ratings behind it against 2.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 26% of AI Video Generator's written reviews are positive against 40% of Kling AI's.

AI Video Generator ships an update monthly, Kling AI every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
