# flix vs FSend

The clearest difference is rating: FSend at 5.0 against flix's 4.0. flix's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. flix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and FSend sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FSend holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: flix has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

flix ships an update fortnightly, FSend monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
