# Lock Screen Calendar vs DailyHack

The clearest difference is ads: Lock Screen Calendar at none against DailyHack's shown. Lock Screen Calendar also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DailyHack's advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 19). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Calendar sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and DailyHack sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lock Screen Calendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DailyHack has 105 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Lock Screen Calendar's written reviews are positive against 93% of DailyHack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lock Screen Calendar ships an update every 3 days, DailyHack every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 12, 2026.
