# Disposable Camera vs EventPics

Disposable Camera and EventPics both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Disposable Camera's written reviews are positive against 33% of EventPics's. Disposable Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). EventPics's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (71 vs 7). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disposable Camera sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and EventPics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Disposable Camera against 4.9 for EventPics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EventPics has 71 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Disposable Camera's written reviews are positive against 33% of EventPics's.

Disposable Camera ships an update every 15 months, EventPics every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
