# Sitch vs Noctava

The clearest difference is rating: Sitch at 3.9 against Noctava's 1.0. Sitch also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 4). Noctava's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (43% vs 21%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sitch sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Noctava asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sitch holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sitch has 2.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Sitch's written reviews are positive against 43% of Noctava's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sitch ships an update fortnightly, Noctava every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
