# Herpfiles vs Summit HQ

The clearest difference is update cadence: Summit HQ at every 3 days against Herpfiles's monthly. Herpfiles's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Herpfiles ships an update monthly, Summit HQ every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
