# DC vs Avatar

DC and Avatar both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 43% of Avatar's written reviews are positive against 32% of DC's. DC's advantage is chart position (#26 vs #102) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DC sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Avatar sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for DC against 4.7 for Avatar. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26K and 18K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of DC's written reviews are positive against 43% of Avatar's.

DC ships an update fortnightly, Avatar every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
