# GroupFun™ vs Swingwise

The clearest difference is ratings volume: GroupFun™ at 740 against Swingwise's 2. Swingwise's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Swingwise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GroupFun™ has 740 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GroupFun™ ships an update every 2 weeks, Swingwise weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
