# Comick vs ComicShelf Reader

The clearest difference is rating: ComicShelf Reader at 5.0 against Comick's 2.6. ComicShelf Reader also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Comick's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comick sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. ComicShelf Reader asks for nothing beyond the download.

ComicShelf Reader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comick has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
