# Intelius Search vs Cell Track

The clearest difference is monetization model: Intelius Search at free with in-app purchases against Cell Track's subscription. Intelius Search also leads on ratings volume (9.9K vs 802) and chart position (#118 vs unranked). Cell Track's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Intelius Search sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Cell Track sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Intelius Search against 4.6 for Cell Track. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intelius Search has 9.9K ratings behind it against 802, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Intelius Search's written reviews are positive against 56% of Cell Track's.

Intelius Search ships an update every 3 months, Cell Track every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
