# Sandbar vs Shotsy GLP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sandbar at none against Shotsy GLP's 10. Sandbar also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0.0 vs 18.0). Shotsy GLP's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (35K vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shotsy GLP sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Sandbar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sandbar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shotsy GLP has 35K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sandbar ships an update every 13 months, Shotsy GLP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
