# StoneNote vs Quick Notes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StoneNote at 50% against Quick Notes's 0%. StoneNote also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Quick Notes's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StoneNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Quick Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quick Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StoneNote has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of StoneNote's written reviews are positive against 0% of Quick Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

StoneNote ships an update every 10 days, Quick Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
