# StoneNote vs IcePDF

The clearest difference is update cadence: IcePDF at every 2 days against StoneNote's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StoneNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IcePDF sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StoneNote ships an update every 10 days, IcePDF every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
