# StoneNote vs ViewMind

The clearest difference is update cadence: StoneNote at every 10 days against ViewMind's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StoneNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ViewMind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StoneNote ships an update every 10 days, ViewMind monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
