# Brookfield Zoo Chicago vs Coaster Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coaster Countdown at 100% against Brookfield Zoo Chicago's 57%. Coaster Countdown also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Brookfield Zoo Chicago's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (819 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brookfield Zoo Chicago has 819 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Brookfield Zoo Chicago's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coaster Countdown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago ships an update monthly, Coaster Countdown every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
