# Coconote vs StudiesTimer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: StudiesTimer at 100% against Coconote's 71%. StudiesTimer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Coconote's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 2) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coconote sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and StudiesTimer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudiesTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coconote has 17K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Coconote's written reviews are positive against 100% of StudiesTimer's.

Coconote ships an update every 8 days, StudiesTimer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
