# Drop Down vs Hoop

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Drop Down at 12.0 against Hoop's 15.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop Down sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Hoop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop Down ships an update every 10 days, Hoop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
