# Overstock vs KrypCity

The clearest difference is rating: Overstock at 4.8 against KrypCity's 1.0. Overstock also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 1). KrypCity's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Overstock holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Overstock has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Overstock's written reviews are positive against 50% of KrypCity's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Overstock ships an update fortnightly, KrypCity daily. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
