# MyWeight² vs Resolution

The clearest difference is update cadence: Resolution at every 4 days against MyWeight²'s fortnightly. Resolution also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). MyWeight²'s advantage is ratings volume (117 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyWeight² sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Resolution sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MyWeight² against 5.0 for Resolution. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyWeight² has 117 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of MyWeight²'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Resolution's.

MyWeight² ships an update fortnightly, Resolution every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
