# ALocker vs YT Widget

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ALocker at 100% against YT Widget's 25%. ALocker also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (58 vs 4). YT Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ALocker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and YT Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ALocker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALocker has 58 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of ALocker's written reviews are positive against 25% of YT Widget's.

ALocker ships an update every 6 weeks, YT Widget every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
