# ALocker vs Subscription

The clearest difference is ads: Subscription at none against ALocker's shown. ALocker's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ALocker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Subscription sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ALocker ships an update every 6 weeks, Subscription every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
