# MAKEUP vs NBM Supply

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NBM Supply at 100% against MAKEUP's 38%. NBM Supply also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MAKEUP's advantage is ratings volume (173 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NBM Supply holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MAKEUP has 173 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of MAKEUP's written reviews are positive against 100% of NBM Supply's.

MAKEUP ships an update every 6 weeks, NBM Supply every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
