# Adopt Animals vs What?Pet

The clearest difference is update cadence: What?Pet at every 3 days against Adopt Animals's every 2 weeks. What?Pet also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adopt Animals sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and What?Pet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Adopt Animals ships an update every 2 weeks, What?Pet every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
