# GrandScore vs OpenScore

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenScore at every 3 days against GrandScore's every 9 days. OpenScore also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GrandScore sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and OpenScore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GrandScore ships an update every 9 days, OpenScore every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
