# BJJ College vs Ujitsu

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ujitsu at free with in-app purchases against BJJ College's subscription. Ujitsu also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). BJJ College's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BJJ College sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ujitsu sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BJJ College ships an update every 5 weeks, Ujitsu weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
