# Silver Probe vs PriceHub Notifications

The clearest difference is rating: PriceHub Notifications at 5.0 against Silver Probe's 2.2. Silver Probe's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 4) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PriceHub Notifications holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Silver Probe has 25 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
