# ERIS vs EX

The clearest difference is update cadence: EX at every 10 days against ERIS's every 3 weeks. ERIS's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ERIS ships an update every 3 weeks, EX every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
