# CoreDefence vs Cloud

CoreDefence and Cloud both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 74% of CoreDefence's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cloud's. CoreDefence also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (446 vs 64). Cloud's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CoreDefence sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Cloud sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for CoreDefence against 4.5 for Cloud. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CoreDefence has 446 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of CoreDefence's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cloud's.

CoreDefence ships an update every 3 weeks, Cloud every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
