# Don't Die vs Sun Day Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Don't Die at weekly against Sun Day Tracker's monthly. Don't Die also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (678 vs 28). Sun Day Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 70%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Don't Die holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Don't Die has 678 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Don't Die's written reviews are positive against 83% of Sun Day Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Don't Die ships an update weekly, Sun Day Tracker monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
