# Random vs Randomizer

The clearest difference is ads: Random at none against Randomizer's shown. Randomizer's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Random sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Randomizer sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Random ships an update every 5 months, Randomizer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
