# Avatar vs Foundation

Avatar and Foundation both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of Foundation's written reviews are positive against 43% of Avatar's. Foundation also leads on chart position (#12 vs #88) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Avatar sells 32 one-off in-app purchases and Foundation sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Avatar against 4.6 for Foundation. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18K and 8.9K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of Avatar's written reviews are positive against 62% of Foundation's.

Avatar ships an update every 9 days, Foundation fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
