# Stryde vs Launchpad

The clearest difference is ads: Launchpad at none against Stryde's shown. Launchpad also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Stryde's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stryde sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Launchpad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launchpad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stryde has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stryde ships an update weekly, Launchpad every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
