# Praise vs Bible Note

The clearest difference is monetization model: Praise at freemium against Bible Note's subscription. Praise also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Bible Note's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Praise sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Bible Note sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Praise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Note has 24K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Praise ships an update every 9 months, Bible Note every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
